Unit 2 - The "After" Party Post

There will be a 20-minute "grade-booster" opportunity in class on Monday to "redeem" yourself... no penalty for wrong answers but extra credit for a good performance. OK by you?...

... and please spread the word to ALL of your alge-buddies!

If you're not asking questions here now, you really have to question yourself!!

  1. GREETINGS FROM ATLANTIC CITY!!

IT'S FRIDAY... AND I STILL DON'T HAVE ANY QUESTIONS... I JUST SPOKE TO MANY OF YOUR PARENTS ABOUT MY DISAPPOINTMENT IN YOUR INABILITY TO USE ALL OF THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO YOU!!

YOU HAVE AN OPPT'Y ON MONDAY TO TURN A 'C' INTO A 'B'... LET'S MAKE THE MOST OF IT...

  3. Uh, perhaps Units 1&2 would be a good start? Remember, this opportunity is a make-up for all past mistakes on previous assessments, so you need to know EVERYTHING. It is a true grade booster, and the problems will be on the tough side... YOU CAN DO IT!!

If I could suggest a FOCUS for your practice, it would probably be the Unit 1 review on pg 71 (sections 1-5, 1-6, and 1-7), and the Unit 2 review on pg 154 (sections 2-4 and 2-5) and pg 155 (sections 2-6, 2-7, & 2-8).

Problem 26 on pg 154 is a wondrous example of an equation that requires you to handle variables on both sides, distribution, distributing the negative and fractions... algebra at its finest!!

It is now Friday night... 24 algebra students have been working since Tuesday and I have no questions... I find that interesting. There is a good chance I won't be around late on Sunday, so if you want help from me, you'd better ask some questions sooner than later.

    Toot-a-loo for now,
    Mr. C.
