ReplyDeleteHola Amanda number 6 on the test-answer+-64
ReplyDeletefirst you simplify.(a^11b^2)^3
you get a^33 (11x3) and b^6 (2x3)
then you substitute for a and b IN PARENTHESES
(-1)^33 times (-2)^6
you get (-1) times (64)
the answer is then -64
I am unsure what I did wrong on question 6 on the test. The problem is evaluate (a^11b^2)^3. I tried it a couple of time but I keep getting the same answer(the one I got wrong on the test.) Can someone explain the steps they took to get the right answer? Thanks.
