hw #7-1 Zero & Negative Exponents

a.k.a. "How to have fun and be miserable at the same time!!"

Remember... "The path to understanding is paved with confusion"
I'm not sure if anyone actually ever said this, so if not - I claim it!

How about this one? "If you're not confused, you're not really trying"
It all boils down to this simple fact: "Confusion is good!"

  4. Because any nonzero integer with an exponent of zero is 1 the problem is basically saying 4a times 1 or 4a(1).
Therefore your answer would be 4a.

  5. I didn't get #6, I started and I got lost in a bunch of numbers and letters.
    I also had trouble on #19. I got 1/2.25
I used the definition of a - exponent and 1.5^-2 turned into 1/1.5^2 then simplified 1.5^2 and got 1/2.25 as my final equation.
